S&P To Remove Gateway From S&P 500; Makes Other Changes

Standard & Poor's will remove Gateway Inc. (NYSE:GTW) (GTW) from the S&P 500 index, replacing it with Realogy Corp. (NYSE:H) (H) at the close of trading July 31.

Gateway as of Monday ranked 500th on the index in market capitalization, and had traded below $2 a share on six consecutive days.

Wyndham Worldwide Corp. (NYSE:WYN) (WYN) will also join the S&P 500 index July 31, replacing Cendant Corp. (NYSE:CD) (CD).

Wyndham and Realogy are being spun off by Cendant (NYSE:CD) .

Cendant (NYSE:CD) will, in turn, replace Credence Systems Corp. (NASDAQ-NMS:CMOS) (CMOS) in the S&P Midcap 400.

Standard & Poor's also said PS Business Parks Inc. (AMEX:PSB) (PSB) will replace Diagnostic Products Corp. (NYSE:DP) (DP) in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading July 27.

Keystone Automotive Industries Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS:KEYS) (KEYS) will replace Russell Corp. (NYSE:RML) (RML) on the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading Aug. 1.
