Intervoice Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS:INTV) (INTV) received a contract to upgrade Vodafone Fiji's pre-paid mobile telephone platform to allow for additional capacity.

Financial terms of the contract, awarded during the company's fiscal second quarter ended Aug. 31, weren't disclosed.

Intervoice (NASDAQ-NMS:INTV) , a Dallas voice and data technology company, said its Intelligent Network system will allow Vodafone Fiji to handle anticipated customer growth and offer new pre-paid services.

The company expects to complete the project by Dec. 25, when Vodafone Fiji expects about 30% growth in its pre-paid subscriber base from the year-end holiday shopping season.

Intervoice (NASDAQ-NMS:INTV) shares recently changed hands up 23 cents, or 3.8%, at $6.36 on volume of 61,100 shares. Average daily volume is 268,309 shares.
