Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. (NYSE:RS) (RS) said Thursday fourth-quarter earnings rose 7.1% to $79.9 million, or $1.06 a share.
Sales for the quarter were $1.71 billion, an increase of 8.7% compared with 2006 fourth quarter sales of $1.57 billion.
The company estimates per-share earnings for the first quarter in a range of $ 1.25 to $1.35.
