CLEANFIELD APPOINTS NEW CFO

Cleanfield Alternative Energy Inc. has appointed Henry Kroeze as chief financial officer. Mr. Kroeze will replace Mr. James Collins, who resigned on May 30, 2008. The appointment is subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

Mr. Kroeze is a chartered accountant and a certified public accountant. Mr. Kroeze has more than 15 years' experience working with public and private companies including Biovail Corporation and Laidlaw International Inc., and as an audit manager with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

"We believe we are strengthening our management team with the addition of Hank, our first full-time CFO," said Tony Verrelli, President and a director.
