(NASDAQ:INET), recently announced it has appointed Scott Friedman to the position of Chief Financial Officer, reporting to CEO Bob Brisco. Friedman joins Internet Brands with extensive financial experience working with media companies including Sony Pictures Digital, The Walt Disney Company, and most recently, WPT Enterprises, Inc. (WPTE), a NASDAQ listed company. At WPTE, Friedman served as CFO, where he was responsible for the company's financial, human resources, information systems and administrative operations. At Sony Pictures Digital, Friedman served as Controller and at The Walt Disney Company he served in several accounting and financial roles. Friedman was a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia while at Arthur Andersen, and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from George Washington University. "We are delighted to add Scott to our team," said Bob Brisco, CEO of Internet Brands. "We're growing rapidly and we look forward to adding his skills, energy, and enthusiasm." Friedman assumes his new position recently.

Print and promotional company InnerWorkings Inc. said Friday that it has appointed two members to its board of directors. Charles K. Bobrinskoy and Eric P. Lefkofsky will join the board, effective Sept. 2. Bobrinskoy is currently vice chairman and director of research at Ariel Investments as well as being co-portfolio manager of Ariel Focus Fund, a concentrated portfolio investing in mid-to-large cap companies. Lefkofsky is a founder of InnerWorkings and president of Blue Media LLC, a Chicago-based private equity and consulting firm focused on applied technology. He is also a founder and director of several other firms. Shares of InnerWorkings fell 20 cents to $11.85 in morning trading.

On Monday, September 8, Chris McWilton, President, Global Accounts for MasterCard (NYSE: MA), will participate in the Lehman Brothers Global Financial Services Conference at the Hilton New York in New York City. The discussion will begin at 11:15 a.m. (EDT) and last for approximately 40 minutes. A listen-only live audio webcast will be accessible through the Investor Relations section of the MasterCard website at www.mastercard.com. An audio replay of the session will also be available for 30 days at the same website location.

All Asia Licensing Inc. (Pink Sheets: AASI), recently announced that it accepted an invitation for its chief scientist to lead a workshop September 23-25 in China at a major international conference on little-known animal diseases.
