announced today that it has won two awards in the 2008 New York Press
Club Journalism Awards competition, making for a total of five major
awards TheStreet.com has won this year.
Entries by the company recognized for excellence and accomplishment in
journalism include “Home Solutions’
Permit Problem,” by Nicholas Yulico, which won
in the Business Internet category, and the “Presidential
Portfolios” series, by Nat Worden, which won
in the Political Coverage Internet category.

TheStreet.com’s winning entries were selected
from a pool of nearly 300 entries from more than 50 metropolitan area
print, Web and broadcast organizations and from individual journalists.
Awards will be presented at the New York Press Club's Awards on Monday,
June 16th.
