EMBARQ(TM) eGo(TM), the Next Generation Home Phone Powered by Casabi, Now Available to Qualifying EMBARQ(TM) Home Phone Customers
EMBARQ (NYSE: EQ) and CASABI, INC., todayannounced their collective efforts to bring web-enabled features andservices to home phones for the first time. The first product developedfrom these efforts, EMBARQ(TM) eGo(TM), is now available to qualifyingEMBARQ(TM) Home Phone customers.
EMBARQ(TM) eGo(TM) is powered by Casabi's network-driven solution whichsources, delivers and optimizes virtually any web-based service or contentto capable, broadband-connected home phone screens. The EMBARQ(TM) eGo(TM)handset's color screen provides EMBARQ(TM) Home Phone customers withinternet-like services, including visual voicemail, playable in any order;a network-based address book; yellow page search with click to call andsave to address book features; and local content including current weather,horoscopes, sports scores, and news.
