Brasileira de Aeronáutica S.A. (NYSE:ERJ) has
selected B/E Aerospace as its supplier of next generation executive
passenger seating products for its new Legacy 450 and Legacy 500
aircraft. The award is initially valued at more than $200 million.
Embraer’s new Legacy 450 and Legacy 500
aircraft are expected to enter service in the second half of 2012 and
2013, respectively, and are designed to provide extraordinary comfort
and lower operating costs. The new jets will be equipped with B/E
Aerospace’s next generation fully upholstered
and ergonomic executive seats and divans.
