AKRON, Ohio, July 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (NYSE: GT) will report second quarter 2008 financial results before markets open on Thursday, July 31, to be followed by an investor conference call at 10:30 a.m.

Participating in the conference call will be Robert J. Keegan, chairman and chief executive officer; W. Mark Schmitz, executive vice president and chief financial officer, and Darren R. Wells, senior vice president, finance and strategy.
