Penton Media Names Jim L'Heureux As Senior Vice President, eMedia

Penton Media, Inc. today announced the appointment of Jim L'Heureux to the position of Senior Vice President, eMedia. L'Heureux most recently served as Vice President of Account Management at Yahoo! Inc. L'Heureux will join Penton's executive management committee and report directly to Penton CEO John French.

L'Heureux has a versatile background with leading companies in a number of sectors and brings a wealth of experience in online media sales and advertising operations management and prior P&L responsibility to his role at Penton. Prior to joining Yahoo! Inc., L'Heureux held several strategic management level positions at America Online - including VP, Sales Development Entertainment & Broad Reach; VP, Advertising Strategy and Yield Management; VP, Business Development; and VP, Marketing Strategy. Previously, L'Heureux served as COO of an Internet radio start up, ClickRadio, Inc.; Executive Vice President & General Manager of Prodigy Internet; Group Product Manager, Business Development Manager at Apple Computer; Director of Strategy and Business Development at Lucasfilm Ltd. & LucasArts Entertainment Company; and Business Manager at PepsiCo, Inc.

In his role as Senior Vice President, eMedia, Mr. L'Heureux will be responsible for overseeing the company's eMedia business initiatives and operations including its 145 websites and related multi-media products. He will additionally assume responsibility for directing Penton's multi-functional eMedia team.
