Evaluation Based on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute
Premiere Global Services, Inc.
(NYSE: PGI), a global provider of on-demand business process improvement
solutions, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in
the ‘Web Conferencing Magic Quadrant’1
report.
“We are honored to be included in the Magic
Quadrant by Gartner and believe it is a reflection of our strong Web
collaboration offering including our proprietary Web conferencing
technology Netspoke,” said David Guthrie, CTO,
Premiere Global Services, Inc. “Premiere
Global continues to anticipate and meet our customers’
conferencing needs through technology innovation and a strong partner
strategy. By integrating the latest Web technologies with a full suite
of audio conferencing services, we make it easier for customers to
enrich their communications and work more efficiently.”
Recent Netspoke product enhancements include Vista compatibility and
improved administrative provisioning capabilities via the Conferencing
Hub. Provided to all Netspoke customers, the Conferencing Hub is a
centralized Web site that allows moderators to manage all phases of
their conferencing experience from pre, during to post-meeting, which
includes the ability to archive, record and replay Web collaboration
sessions. According to Gartner, “Web
conferencing not only allows people to collaborate virtually and share
information, it also provides facilities to record and capture formal or
ad hoc collaborative interactions for later tracking and reuse. As
organizations develop their collaboration strategies from a technical
and people perspective, Web-conferencing penetration rates will increase
because of the cost savings and productivity improvements Web
conferencing brings.”
The criteria for this year’s Magic Quadrant
included “at least $10 million in annual
revenue from sales of Web-Conferencing products.”
