BRIEF: Corporate Profits Fall in Second Quarter

Aug. 28--U.S. corporate profits fell again in the second quarter, as they have for at least the last four quarters, according to the federal Bureau of Economic Analysis.

Profits fell 2.4 percent from the first quarter and 7 percent from the same quarter of 2007.

Corporate profits are a key indicator of future corporate aircraft purchases.
