(NASDAQ:SOMX) today announced that Richard Pascoe, the company’s recently named president and chief executive officer, will present a company update at the Thomas Weisel 2008 Healthcare Conference on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at 4:25 p.m. Eastern time. The conference will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston.

The company also said that Jeff Raser, Somaxon’s senior vice president sales and marketing, will present a company overview at the NewsMakers in the Biotech Industry Conference on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern time. The conference will take place at the Millennium Broadway Hotel & Conference Center in New York City.
