DETROIT, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Axle & Manufacturing, Inc. (AAM), announced today the following officer and executive appointments:

John J. Bellanti has been named executive vice president, Worldwide Operations. Previously, he served as AAM's group vice president, Manufacturing Services, Capital Planning & Cost Estimating.

Steven J. Proctor has been named president, AAM - Asia. Proctor previously served as AAM's vice president, Sales & Marketing prior to assuming his current position.

Mark S. Barrett has been appointed vice president, Engineering & Product Development. Barrett previously served as executive director, Engineering & Product Development.

Curt S. Howell has been appointed vice president, Driveline Full Frame Operations. Howell previously served as vice president, Global Driveline Operations.

John E. Jerge has been appointed vice president, Driveline Pascar Operations. Jerge previously served as vice president, Human Resources.

Robin Kendrick has been appointed vice president, Driveshaft & Halfshaft Operations. Kendrick previously served as general manager, Global Driveshaft & Halfshaft Operations.

Charles B. (Brad) Comeau has been appointed executive director, Human Resources. Comeau previously served as executive director, HR Operations.

John C. Salter has been appointed executive director, Sales & Marketing. Salter previously served as executive director, Driveline Programs.

Thomas J. Szymanski has been appointed executive director, Manufacturing Planning. Szymanski previously served as executive director, Corporate Manufacturing Services UniBody Vehicles Driveline.
