CEO of CPI Plastics Group Limited intends to increase holdings of common shares

TORONTO, Sept. 23 /CNW/ - Peter F. Clark announced his intention to purchase, through the facilities of the TSX, up to 600,000 common shares in the capital of CPI Plastics Group Limited ("CPI").

Mr. Clark is the Chief Executive Officer of CPI and excluding the shares indicated above beneficially owns, directly or indirectly, or has the power to exercise control or direction over 7,266,126 common shares of CPI representing in excess of 55% of all issued and outstanding common shares of CPI.

Based upon publicly available information concerning the business of CPI, Mr. Clark stated the acquisition of the shares reflected an attractive business opportunity.

CPI Plastics Group Ltd. is a Canadian-based plastics processor and a recognized international leader in thermoplastics profile design, engineering, processing and value added manufacturing. CPI is comprised of three key divisions.
