PASADENA, Calif., Sept. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering
Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract from Gedeon
Richter (BSE: GDRB) to provide engineering, procurement, and construction
management services and validation assistance for a grassroots, multi-purpose
biotechnology research & development and manufacturing facility in Debrecen,
Hungary.
Officials did not disclose contract details but noted they would execute
the work from their office in Milan, Italy.
Gedeon Richter, headquartered in Budapest, Hungary, is one of the largest
multinational pharmaceutical companies in Central Eastern Europe and the
Commonwealth of Independent States. It has a growing presence through
commercial subsidiaries in key European Union countries, Asia, and the United
States.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Robert Matha said
