Praxair, Inc. (NYSE: PX) has been included in the Carbon Disclosure
Project (CDP) 2008 Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index. This index,
comprised of only 67 companies among 500 of the world’s
largest corporations, recognizes leaders in climate change disclosure
practices, based on their responses to an annual CDP questionnaire.

greenhouse gas emissions goals and performance, while identifying
potential risks and opportunities,” said Riva

The Carbon Disclosure Project, founded in 2000, represents 385
institutional investors worldwide with more than $57 trillion in assets
under management. An independent, non-profit organization, CDP collects
climate change data from more than 1550 major corporations around the
globe and has assembled the largest corporate greenhouse gas emissions
database in the world.
