Fred Thompson Will Speak to 7,000 Conference Attendees in Keynote
Address
Healthcare professionals from five continents, representing 13
countries, will have the opportunity to share insights and best
practices in healthcare information technology (HIT) at the 2008 Cerner
Health Conference. More than 7,000 people are expected to attend the
conference, which runs from Oct. 5 to 8 at the Kansas City Convention
Center.

Members of Lawrence Memorial Hospital will be presenting at the Cerner
Health Conference about how the hospital is using Cerner®
solutions to improve its pharmacy processes and incorporate ECG images
into the electronic medical record (EMR).
The Cerner Health Conference will include more than 400 education
sessions about the ways healthcare organizations throughout the world
use Cerner solutions to improve operations, efficiency and patient care.
Keynote speakers for the conference include former U.S. Senator Fred
Thompson, R-Tenn., Neal Patterson, Cerner founder and chief executive
officer, and Anthony Williams, co-author of the book “Wikinomics:
How Mass Collaboration Changes Everything.”
