CN to report third-quarter 2008 financial results on Oct. 21, 2008

MONTREAL, Oct. 3 /CNW Telbec/ - CN (TSX: CNR) (NYSE: CNI) will issue its third-quarter 2008 financial and operating results on Oct. 21, 2008, shortly after 4 p.m. Eastern time (ET). CN's senior officers will review the results and the railway's outlook in a conference call/webcast that afternoon starting at 4.30 p.m. ET.

E. Hunter Harrison, president and chief executive officer of CN, will lead the conference call; he will be joined on the call by Claude Mongeau, executive vice-president and chief financial officer, and James Foote, executive vice-president, Sales and Marketing.
