RDSI, a technology subsidiary of Rurban Financial Corp, has entered into agreements with Battle Creek State Bank - based in Battle Creek, Nebraska - and Curtis State Bank - based in Curtis, Nebraska - to be their data processing partner.

Roger Brestel, president of Battle Creek State Bank, stated, "Our current processor, The Cattle National Bank and Trust Company, was looking to move in a different direction. When they came to us with RDSI as their partner, we quickly realized the expanded potential of the combined offering. We are very excited about this partnership and believe the service and product enhancements will help grow our business."

"We are looking forward to providing excellent service to [the banks] and we feel that we can be a key partner in growing their business and profitability," added Hank Thiemann, president of RDSI. "Our entrance into the Nebraska territory is growing due to the fact that we have provided high integrity and value-added services to our clients."

Kenneth A. Joyce, president and CEO of Rurban Financial Corp., commented, "This is a very positive partnership in the Nebraska market. RDSI's expansion into Nebraska is reinforced each time we sign a new client, and we welcome [the banks] into the family... We are dedicated to providing excellent banking technology services to the industry and we have a positive outlook for providing further services to the Nebraska market area."

RDSI will be providing core data processing services and support of banking products. Battle Creek State Bank and Curtis State Bank will be utilizing the partnership with The Cattle National Bank and Trust Company - based in Seward, Nebraska - for their item processing needs and back counter electronic capture of items.

"The expanded depth provided by RDSI along with the fact that we could still continue our relationship with The Cattle National Bank and Trust Company was very appealing to me," stated John Wilkinson, president of Curtis State Bank. "We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with both parties."
