KCI Medical Canada, Inc. announced today that it has named John Simmons as General Manager.

John brings to KCI a strong track record of successful leadership in addition to substantial sales, marketing and general management experience from Becton Dickinson (BD) as well as from Johnson & Johnson (J&J).

Most recently, John was Vice President, U.S. Sales and Marketing, for BD Medical – Diabetes Care. Prior to this position, John was the Vice President and General Manager, Worldwide Blood Glucose Monitoring, a new business for BD Medical. John also held various leadership positions in BD Consumer Healthcare and was the Country General Manager for BD Canada. Prior to BD, John held positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and business development for LifeScan Canada (a J&J company) and J&J Consumer Products Canada.

John holds an Honours B.Sc. in Life Sciences from Queen’s University and an MBA from Simon Fraser University.
